eudaimon
Eudaimonia, a central concept in Aristotelian ethics, denotes the highest human good, often translated as “happiness” or “flourishing.” It’s achieved through the virtuous activity of the soul in accordance with reason, reflecting the belief that true happiness is found in a life of virtuous actions which resonate with one’s true nature, rather than in pleasure or material wealth. This state embodies the fulfillment of one’s potential and true nature.
